Church of Saint Nicholas in Izmailovo

The Church of St. Nicholas, the Miracleworker is assigned to St. Daniil’s Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Monastery has a direct reporting line to His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia.

The temple was founded in the 5th September, 1997.

The Church, with the Iconastasis executed by icon painters from the village of Mstera, the region of Vladimir, was built and brought under the purview of the  Monastery by the complex of Russian podvorje in Izmailovo in 2003.

The reliquary with the relics of St. Prince Pyotr and St. Princess Feuronia, miracleworkers from Murom are housed here to worship.

The Church hosts a Sunday school and a school of Church arrangement floristry.

The services are held on Sundays and on other religious holidays.

The sacrament of Baptism and the Wedding ceremony are regularly performed.

An Icon shop is open at the Church.

Opening hourse: from 10 a.m. to 6 p. m. (on Sunday — from  9 a. m.).
